Einstein Academy families joined with other community members Oct. 1 and 2 to help raise awareness of the homeless families in our own community. The families participated in Box City and raised pledges and slept overnight in Bridgeport Park in Valencia, in a cardboard box “home” as residents.

"Laurie Ender dances for families"

The third annual Santa Clarita Valley Dancing With Our Stars will feature a dozen amateur dancers paired with professional partners to benefit SCV nonprofits. The event will be held Saturday, April 2 at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills. Tickets are $85 each. Santa Clarita Mayor Pro-Tem Laurie Ender will dance to benefit homeless children and families in the SCV.
